Servers perform guest service in the dining room, making sure that all dining room guests are seated at a clean and properly set up table, that all guests receive prompt attention, have their orders promptly prepared and served, and ensure tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. The server cheerfully serves guests, takes food orders and provides follow up for satisfaction. The server has thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items, correct plate presentation, and temperature controls.

Experience in a Sushi / Japanese Restaurant
fluent in English/ Speaking Korean is a plus.

The Server is also responsible for:

• Make decisions and solve problems in the interest of 100% guest satisfaction
• Communicate clearly and positively with coworkers
• Assists the manager in identifying and solving present and potential guest problems
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Engage with and understand our guests, including discovering and responding to guest needs through clear and pleasant communication
• Replenish inventory to meet the demands of the wait staff / takeout station
• Excellent communication skills, fielding all calls for takeout orders
• Prepare takeouts, making sure all orders are properly packed and the orders are fulfilled.

Competitive compensation: guaranteed $18 / hour, with opportunity to earn more through tips!
