Description
The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and profitability of multiple locations within a designated area. This position involves overseeing day-to-day activities, implementing company policies, and driving performance to achieve business objectives. The Area Supervisor reports to the Regional Manager and serves as a liaison between headquarters and the locations under their supervision.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the operations of multiple locations within the designated area.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards across all locations.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales and customer satisfaction.
· Identify operational issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
· Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance.
· Recruit company chefs and franchisees as necessary.
· Set performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback as required
· Schedule staff effectively to meet operational needs while controlling labor costs.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across all locations.
· Monitor customer feedback and address any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
· Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer issues.
· Monitor financial performance, including sales, and profitability.
· Analyze financial reports and identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs.
· Provide ongoing coaching and support to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years experience
· Sushi experience highly preferred
· Multi-Unit experience
· ServSafe certified preferred
· Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in retail, hospitality, or a similar industry.
· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence teams.
· Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
· Flexibility to travel within the designated area as needed.
