Summary of Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for executing assigned experiments and tasks to support the development of Intuity Medical’s blood glucose monitoring system. Support senior members of the R&D team in the completion of clinical and benchtop testing. Works independently and within cross-functional teams to carry out tasks related to system characterization; performance testing of product; and clinical/patient testing.

Position Description and Responsibilities:

• Execute assigned experiments and tasks
• Develop and execute protocols to investigate product performance
• Formulate samples (glucose, blood, etc.) as required for protocols
• Collect, enter, and analyze raw data as required; summarize results and observations in Test Reports
• Assist in product evaluation in the clinical laboratory. Testing will include lancing subjects to collect and analyze blood samples.

Position Qualifications:

• Wet-lab chemistry and general laboratory skills
• Excellent pipetting techniques a must
• Data analysis skills (JMP and/or Excel preferred)
• Ability to handle human and biological samples including blood
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with small parts
• Detail oriented with good observational skills and manual dexterity
• Flexible and adaptable with rapidly changing task priorities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organization and record keeping skills
• Computer skills including: MS Word, MS Excel and statistical analysis SW (JMP or Minitab)
• Interpersonal and team skills

Minimum Education and Experience

• Associate degree in science with 4 years minimum work experience
• B.S. degree in science with 2 years minimum work experience

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
