What would you be doing?

• Preparation of information that will be needed for patient visits
• When necessary, contacting patients for reminders of information that is required
• Check In Patients- Confirm patient demographics and update any new or changed information regarding the patient, verify insurance coverage, scan required documents into patient’s chart
• Collect Insurance Co-Payments, Collect Previous Balances
• Check Out Patients, schedule follow-up appointments
• Obtain Procedure Prior Authorizations when needed

What we are looking for:

• At least 2 years experience in a busy medical practice, spine/ortho highly desirable.
• Previous experience with Cerner Practice System preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of insurance payers.

This position is located in our Bloomington office.

This position it full-time requiring 40 hours/5 days per week.
