About The Role

Hamilton is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gunnebo AB and is based in Milford, Ohio. The position of Customer Support Representative for Technical support provides support to Banking equipment Technicians in the field to troubleshoot issues and provides training to Technicians on new and current products.

What You Will Do

  • Follow company safety and housekeeping requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance to service technicians via telephone or email.
  • Provide sales support to Channel Partner sales network.
  • Document technical service calls via specified software.
  • Perform failure analysis for responsible products. Work with engineers/vendors for a resolution.
  • Create all technical documentation required.
  • Provide technical training to live groups and/or webcast groups.
  • Create necessary reports for responsible products.
  • Assist sales team and procurement team with third party equipment decisions.
  • Assist engineering team with the testing of new products or product changes.

Who we are looking for.

  • Mechanically inclined, good Listener, understands instructions quickly, can help techs to follow our instructions. Great communication skills, patience with customers.
  • Achieve a high level of understanding on certain products in order to: Provide technical support to field technicians and sales support to Channel Partners.
  • Draft technical documentation such as technical service bulletins, installation instructions, service documents and training manuals.
  • Provide technical training to live groups or webcast groups.

Essential Criteria:

  • Associate degree in related field; or five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
