Job Description
Summary

Supports the activities of the Company related to technical sales; specifically, the development of deck plans and specifications to interpret and define the customer interface and experience to Engineering, Operations and Suppliers. Facilitates communication between Engineering, Customers and Suppliers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and work scope. Engages in special projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Engages in technical discussions with existing and potential clients to gain understanding of customer requirements as they relate to interiors and systems functionality and operability.
  • Assists with the development of specifications and/or compliance matrices for major programs.
  • Works directly with Sales to provide technical support for new proposals.
  • Supports sales presentations and technical discussions with customers as necessary with sales representatives.
  • Provides on-site support and training to customers around the world.
  • Works directly with engineering managers and project engineers to provide technical assistance as required.
  • Ensures products meet client's expectations.
  • Analyzes technology trends and market demand to define projects by means of attending and representing the company at industry trade shows and to promote its services.
  • Meets with clients and assists sales representatives with maintaining relationships.
  • Participates in assigned duties from the Contact Plan to strengthen customer relationships and lead generation and documents activities in CRM.
  • Reviews customer statements of work, RFQs, deck plans and supporting documentation with proposal team and recommend solutions and assumptions.
  • Analyzes supplier technical and commercial proposals. Provides input into the preparation of supplier comparison metrics and recommendations for executive management.
  • Performs regular technical debriefs to key staff. To include information from the market, trade shows, conferences, vendor visits, etc.
  • Contributes to a positive work atmosphere by displaying productive behavior and communication focused on building effective working relationships with customers, clients, suppliers, coworkers, and management.
  • Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 8 years of related aviation technical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.

The expected WA salary range for this position is between $102,585.00 - $150,458.00 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law.
