FLOSS Dental is Hiring a Treatment Coordinator Near Dallas, TX

Overview of position:The Treatment Coordinator serves as an advocate and educator in creating treatment plans for dental care. The role is essential in securing treatment plans and coordination of financial resources and/or insurance requirements and billing practices.

Additionally, this role assists the Office Manager in production goals and participates in greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and other office responsibilities as required.

Main Job Functions

  • Prepares and maintains collection reports, taking appropriate action as necessary.
  • Submits assigned A/R follow-up reports to the Office Manager weekly
  • Responds to telephone inquiries from internal as well as external customers regarding billing, payment, or other account inquiries.
  • Analyzes and reviews claims for accuracy, completeness and eligibility.
  • Submits paper claims and other supporting documentation as necessary.
  • Maintains knowledge of medical necessity guidelines that pertain to assigned collection accounts.
  • Notifies supervisor of any trends in denials or unpaid activities.
  • Performs complicated tasks such as appeals on complex medical necessity denials.
  • Works in collaboration with the entire Practice as it relates to reimbursement questions.
  • Meets or exceeds performance parameters as established by the Practice.
  • Acts as a liaison between the patient and the insurance company to resolve unpaid claims.
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards compliance requirements and clinic policies and procedures.
  • Detailed understanding of appropriate ICD-9 and CPT as well as HCPCS procedural coding.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance plans, both local and federal.

Education and/or ExperienceWhat We Offer

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two (2) or more years of medical revenue cycle experience are required.

Pay: $20.78 - $23.00 per hour
