**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled SWAHILI Interpreter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating communication between parties who speak Swahili in various settings.

**Duties:**

- Provide accurate and clear interpretation services during meetings, conferences, medical appointments, legal proceedings, and other interactions.

- Translate written documents such as medical records, legal documents, and other materials as needed.

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and HIPAA regulations.

- Assist in documentation review and ensure accurate translation of information.

- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, social work practices, and specific industry jargon as required.

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in SWAHILI languages to facilitate effective communication.

- Strong ability to interpret and translate complex information accurately.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.

- Ability to work in diverse environments such as hospitals, social work agencies, legal settings, etc.

- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with individuals from various backgrounds.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
