Embassy of Painesville is Hiring a STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) Near Painesville, OH
NIGHT SHIFT STNA'S-- FULL TIME AND PART TIME
****$2,500 SIGN ON BONUS****
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers of patients
- Observe and report any changes in patients' condition to the nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Experience:
- Previous experience as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) is preferred
- Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system is a plus
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Experience in behavioral health or working with individuals with mental health conditions is desirable
- Proficiency in venipuncture and specimen collection techniques
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to assist with physical examinations and procedures
- Knowledge of hospice care principles and practices is beneficial
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance
