EQuIS is the premier environmental and geotechnical data management system in the world. EQuIS is used by many government agencies, industrial property owners, over 300 consultants, and over 400 analytical labs around the world. Many US EPA regions, state regulatory agencies, and other government organizations use EQuIS. EQuIS interfaces with ArcGIS for advanced environmental decision support and data analysis. Many other software companies link with EQuIS.

As a member of the Product Department, you will help guide the vision, direction, and strategy of EQuIS GIS software integration and functionality.

Responsibilities (what you do):

• Oversee the vision of EarthSoft’s GIS software interfaces, integrations, and toolsets. This specifically includes integration with Esri’s ArcGIS family of software and the EQuIS Map Widget.
• Develop and maintain relationships in the GIS community and with GIS visionaries, including Esri. Be aware of where GIS software, particularly Esri, and the GIS industry is going.
• Gather feedback from clients, Sales, Account Management, and others relative to product functionality, suitability, and direction.
• Participate in General EarthSoft Institutional Knowledge (GEIK) sessions and Product Advisory Forum (PAF) meetings.
• Create, maintain, and present (as needed) product roadmap(s) using approved tool(s).
• Provide technical demos as needed.
• Work with Product Manager(s) in reviewing user stories and prioritizing the development backlog.
• Participate in strategic product discussions with corporate leaders.
• Regularly review the online product discussion forum(s) and participate as needed (responding to product questions, announcing hotfixes, etc.).
• Collaborate with other Product Owners to evaluate and determine overall product priorities and resource allocation.

Required Skills and Experience (what you need/have):
