Job Description:

• PURPOSE OF JOB:

To perform clinical laboratory procedures necessary to assist in quality patient care and aid in the

efficient and effective operation of the department.

• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Interprets laboratory requests for testing.

• Performs established laboratory testing procedures competently.
• Interprets test results.
• Utilizes criteria for acceptable specimens. Accessions specimens for proper disposition.

Job Qualifications:
Education: MLT, Associate Degree in Clinical Science, ASCP or equivalent preferred
excellent phlebotomy skills required

clinical hospital experience preferred
