Doppelmayr USA is Hiring a CNC Machinist Near Salt Lake City, UT
Doppelmayr USA, Inc. is currently hiring for skilled CNC Machinists to work in our Salt Lake City manufacturing facility. The successful candidates will have a diverse background in manufacturing and work with a team to produce projects on time with attention to safety and quality in all they do.
This position works on site at our Salt Lake facility, Monday-Friday 6 am to 3:30 pm. Overtime is likely and will be mandatory when assigned. Some weekend work may be possible based on workload.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of setup and operation of 3rd and 4th axis mills and lathes
- Thorough Understanding of basic machining practices--speed and feeds, proper tool selections, etc.
- Ability to program at the control
- Familiarity with inspection processes and calibration of measuring equipment
- Willingness to follow all safety directives and comply with company standards
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and carry weight up to 50 lbs on a regular basis safely
- Consistent, reliable attendance is expected
Education and Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of CNC machining experience
- General knowledge of GD&T
- Computer skills preferred, CAD/CAM a plus
- Have good understanding of G and M codes
