We are looking for an experienced high-energy, optimistic Dental Assistant to join our team. We are an all-in-one dental prosthodontic center located in Charleston WV, providing comprehensive specialty dental care services including our own on-site dental laboratory.

This is a full-time M-TH role with an occasional Friday and weekend as needed. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for providing direct patient care and aiding the doctor during surgical procedures. We set the bar high for ourselves and strive to deliver the very best experience to our patients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Dental Assistant Experience.
• Dental Surgical experience, implants and knowledge of surgical sedation is a plus.
• Assist in maintaining accurate patient records.
• Responsible for helping maintain infection control by keeping all areas and dental instruments cleaned and sanitized.
• Self-motivated and willing to work as a strong team member helping in other positions around the office when needed.
• Willing and able to learn new concepts and adapt quickly.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Very friendly and approachable, likes to interact with patients and work in a team environment.
• Experience with digital x-rays preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and tools.
• All certifications (Dental Assisting, Certified Dental Assistant, CPR Certification, Registered Dental Assistant) must be up-to-date.
• X-ray Certification and Nitrous Oxide Certification a plus.
• Ability to begin work at 7:30 am and stay until last patient has left which can be anywhere between 5-6pm.
