2nd Shift Maintenance Technician Opportunity

Craftline Graphics is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The right candidate is dependable, detail oriented with a passion for process improvement and machine maintenance. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Hours: 2 p.m. to 10 p.m with OT as required to meet customer needs

Job Description:

The Maintenance Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining machinery through preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting machine break downs and completing repairs in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment specific to the printing industry (i.e. Binders, Stitchers, Presses, Bailers, etc.)

• Complete routinely scheduled PM’s.

• Communicate clearly and efficiently with management, staff and peers.

• Is proactive in obtaining input from team and operators regarding machine operations.

• Document daily activities (Experience working with a CMMS preferred)

• Promotes and maintains a safe work environment by following local and national codes, standards, and legal regulations.

• Maintains inventory level of spare parts with a CMMS, placing orders and verifying receipt.

• Adheres to all safety guidelines including PPE, LOTO, Best Practices

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret various machine drawings and schematics (i.e. Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic)

• Basic PLC and VFD Troubleshooting

• Use of hand and power tools specific to the industrial maintenance industry

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year industrial maintenance experience in a high volume, fast paced manufacturing environment

• Experience with printing/bindery equipment preferred

• High School diploma or equivalent (Trade or Technical Education preferred)
