Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our accounting operations, assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local government reporting requirements. Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger Details, Inventory, Revenue Recognition, Payroll, Fixed Assets, etc.
• Assist in the preparation, creation, and maintenance of formal internal controls and accounting processes.
• Oversee and assist in the production of monthly financial reports, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Support the month-end and year-end close process.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts; report significant budget differences to management.
• Assist in monthly financial analysis and preparation of the bank reporting package.
• Work with external accounting firm and assist subsidiaries in the preparation of audit and tax requests.
• Manage and comply with federal, state, and local government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Assist with the preparation of board presentation materials.
• Provide research and analysis on technical accounting areas, as requested.
• Undertake other projects as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required, MBA or Master's in Accounting preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, including experience with month-end close.
