Under general supervision, drive heavy duty, medium duty, and/or light duty buses, including regular fixed route and para-transit operations; assist passengers with belongings; collect fares or tickets; and perform related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
This is a safety sensitive position. Federal Transit Authority guidelines require passing a drug screen prior to start date and ongoing participation in the random drug screen program during employment in this position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
WORKING CONDITIONS:Duties require occasional heavy lifting; and physically assisting in the boarding and departure of passengers, with or without mobility devices, up to a total weight of 800 lbs.

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT: Employee shall establish their principal place of residence within fifty (50) miles of their place of employment as soon as practical after appointment, but within two years of their date of employment or appointment.
