Children's Land in Park Ridge just opened its brand-new state-of-the-art facility, and we are excited to welcome a Lead Toddler Teacher to our vibrant and nurturing community. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of toddlers. Here, we focus on creating a friendly, engaging, and supportive environment where every child can explore and grow through playful learning.

As our Lead Toddler Teacher, you will be at the heart of our educational activities, fostering the intellectual, social, and emotional development of toddlers. You will lead a team dedicated to crafting a curriculum that emphasizes creative expression and hands-on learning. Your commitment to fostering a nurturing environment will ensure a positive and impactful experience for both the children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

•Develop and implement a toddler-centric curriculum that promotes developmental milestones and holistic growth.

•Lead and engage in daily activities that are designed to enhance physical, social, and cognitive development.

•Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom that encourages toddlers to learn and explore.

•Regularly assess the development of each child, customizing approaches to meet individual learning needs.

•Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children’s progress, daily experiences, and developmental milestones.

•Guide and mentor assistant teachers, fostering a collaborative atmosphere within the classroom.

•Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations concerning child care and safety.

Qualifications:

•Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

•Minimum of 3 years experience in a lead teacher role for toddlers.

•Strong knowledge of age-appropriate educational techniques and child development theories.

•CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.

•Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

•A profound dedication to the educational and emotional development of young children.
