Children’s Land of Grayslake is seeking a creative and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant team. This role is crucial in delivering educational and engaging programs to children aged 3-5 years. The ideal candidate will possess a robust knowledge of preschool educational methods and a keen ability to cultivate a dynamic learning environment that promotes social, physical, and intellectual growth among young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality educational activities that align with early learning standards.

• Regularly assess the development of children, adapting curriculum to meet individual needs.

• Ensure a nurturing classroom atmosphere that is safe and conducive to learning.

• Establish and maintain frequent communications with parents and guardians, providing updates on child development and daily activities.

• Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development, and training workshops.

• Effectively manage classroom resources and ensure all materials are available and in good condition.

• Monitor children consistently to guarantee their safety and general well-being.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field is required; a Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.

• At least 2 years of direct experience teaching preschool-aged children.

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

• Familiarity with the educational and safety regulations of childcare.

• Demonstrable knowledge of preschool educational methods and practices.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Physical ability to engage in activities with young children.
