Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Controller. As an Assistant Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our organization. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures
- Conduct technical accounting research and provide recommendations
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during annual audits
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to management
- Assist with accounts payable functions as needed

Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles
- Proficiency in general ledger reconciliation and general ledger accounting
- Knowledge of technical accounting standards and ability to apply them effectively
- Experience with financial management systems and software
- Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
