Position Type

• Part-Time (Up to 18 Hours weekly)
• Days Needed: Tuesdays & Thursdays (with some Wednesdays)

Position Level (1 = Entry | 2 = Some Experience | 3 = Advanced)

• This is a Level 2 Position; Some experience is needed

Job Responsibilities

• Preparing the room for each patient's procedure
• Bring Patients back into the operatory for treatment
• Take necessary X-rays prescribed by the Dentist
• Sterilizing instruments after each procedure
• Running weekly spore tests
• Maintaining and cleaning autoclave
• Set up each room with appropriate supplies prior to start of the procedure
• Placing barrier tape where appropriate
• Placing barrier sleeves over instruments
• Wiping down the chairs, counters, hygiene instruments prior to autoclaving
• Placing chair covers
• Cleaning the suction lines
• Placing new suction traps
• Sweeping at the end of the day to remove debris from the operatory floor
• Emptying trash in each room
• Restocking the rooms with supplies
• Taking supplies inventory for order placement every month
• Preparing patient hygiene bags
• Take the trash out at the end of the day
• Take impressions when instructed
• Present patient dental and health history to the Dentist
• Maintain an active X-ray certification
• Shut down each operatory room at the end of the day
• Shut down equipment
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by the dentist

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 18 per week
