The Castle in the Sand Hotel located on 37th Street in Ocean City, Maryland is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor, Room Attendants and Runner positions for the 2024 season. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.

A successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Employees will provide services at the highest level and quality.
• Maintaining a peaceful work environment
• Perform assigned duties.

A successful applicant must:

• Be a legal US citizen or be authorized to work in the US.
• Be able to work until late October.
• Be meticulous.
• Have a general knowledge of cleaning (including deep cleaning) or laundry.
• Have a general knowledge of cleaning equipment.

Physical Demands: (Runner Position)

• Lifting ability
• Work in an outside environment.
• Ability to climb steps and stairs; stoop, bend, reach, push, pull, and kneel.
• Aid guests with luggage transport to rooms.

Supervisor Responsibilities

· Provide training to housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks.

· Oversee staff performance daily.

· Regularly check rooms and public areas (including stairways and lounge areas) for cleanliness.

· Respond to customer complaints and special requests.

· Address any issues that arise during work.

· Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: Room Attendant/ Runner $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Supervisor from $19.00/hour

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Day shift/ evening shift
• Weekends

Experience:

• Cleaning Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Hotel Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Supervisor: Management experience preferred
