Overview:

We are seeking a versatile individual to fill the role of Pricing and Ocean Import Supervisor. This position will be divided between two key responsibilities: pricing and quoting (50% of the time) and ocean import operations (50% of the time). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market dynamics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Pricing and Quoting (50%): - Support the sales team by providing competitive rates and accurate quotes. - Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors to stay informed about market trends and pricing strategies. - Analyze pricing data to optimize profitability and ensure competitiveness in the market.

2. Ocean Import Operations (50%): - Oversee and manage ocean import operations to ensure efficient and timely processing of shipments. - Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational issues and streamline processes. - Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Additional Details:

- As our company grows, the Pricing role will become more prominent Initially, the focus will be on splitting time between ocean import operations and pricing for the first 8-10 months.

- Hybrid work model: This position requires three days in the office and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.- Proficiency in CargoWise is preferred.

Salary:

$80,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
