Reports to: Quality Manager

Summary:

This position will involve assisting in the day-to-day activities within the Quality Department and oversee all NDT testing and assist in ISO:17025 compliance.

Essential Functions/Duties:

The primary duties consist of but not limited to the following:

1. Setup and creation of all necessary documentation for NDT processes
2. Maintain lab equipment in good condition, perform and/or coordinate maintenance and repair of test equipment.
3. Continually improving processes, material, and designs to ensure every product exceeds customer specifications while providing unparalleled value.
4. Assist in documentation review for ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and various client audits.
5. Maintains all paperwork as required for tracking and timely submittal, and document control including distribution/removal of obsolete prints, forms, and or work instructions.
6. Maintains sample parts as required.
7. Communicate professionally with co-workers, suppliers, and customers as needed regarding quality related issues.
8. Analyze and verify the dimensional capability of products and processes (includes suppliers).
9. Comply with all company Procedures, Policies, and Work Instructions.
10. Assist Quality Manager with other projects or assignments on an as needed basis.

Physical/Cognitive Demands:

This is largely a sedentary role; however, walking long distances (over uneven surfaces) to/within our production facility is required. Position also requires the ability to lift boxes, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Cognitive abilities required include deductive reasoning, information ordering, oral comprehension, oral expression, problem sensitivity, written comprehension, and written expression.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Preferred Education and Experience:

1. NDT Level II certification
2. Experience with ISO:17025 compliance is required (minimum of 2 years desired)
