The Attorney will work amongst the firms Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Wayzata, & Stillwater offices in addition to enjoying remote work from their home. Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate has 2 years experience in family law and has knowledge of Minnesota procedures. The candidate also has strong attention to detail and follow-up skills. Duties include but are not limited to:

Preparing motions, affidavits, legal arguments, testimony, and trial briefs

Conducting thorough hearing preparations

Consulting with clients to strategize on cases

Engaging in communication with opposing parties, courts, and relevant stakeholders

Conducting comprehensive research on case law to identify and apply pertinent judicial decisions, statutes, etc.

Investigating the facts surrounding a case

Reviewing and staying updated on new laws and regulations

Drafting substantive correspondence

Reviewing and approving documents crafted by paralegals

Qualifications:

Requirements:

2 years experience in family law

Admitted to Minnesota Bar

Expresses sensitivity to others can make clients feel comfortable sharing personal information relating to their cases

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Open-minded and willing to learn

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Can quickly adapt to changing deadlines

Ability to manage many cases at one time

Technologically savvy

Extensive use of Microsoft Office products
