Production Manager, Manufacturing
The Production Manager assists in getting orders out to the factory and on the production schedule. In addition, this manager ensures orders are progressing on schedule as they travel through the various factory departments. Attends daily production meetings. Oversees two shop foremen and monitors progress in achieving goals for accuracy, quality, and timeliness of orders.
Responsibilities
•We are seeking a fully capable, experienced, and autonomous manager to take charge of 5 production departments.
•Must be a leader with a proven track record of success and exceeding expectations.
•Experience with the following is a plus: metalworking, fabrication, welding, machining, electrical, and hydraulics.
•Must be detailed and results-oriented with an emphasis on efficiency and critical thinking.
•Liaison between sales and production including direct customer contact for delivery updates, troubleshooting, and handling complaints.
•Responsible for environmental health and safety, including training orientation, compliance, and safety management.
•Experience with automation, OSHA training, and maintaining ISO9001 quality management system a plus.
