Progressive Technology Solutions is Hiring a Product Manager -II Near Owings Mills, MD

General Information

Job Description: PURPOSE:

Manages end-to-end delivery of team and internal projects from the initial kickoff to coordinating major launch milestones to maintaining and enhancing program performance over time. Guides clients through key decisions, communicates and coordinates activities internally and across departments. Works on new needs for process and improvements and identifies and articulates internal client needs to the technology team. The position of Product Manager requires a candidate with a robust background, demanding a total of 10 years of experience, predominantly in technical domains. Specifically, candidates should possess 6-7 years of hands-on technical expertise, ideally in a Technical Delivery Manager capacity. A pivotal aspect of this role involves seamless collaboration with System Architects and Enterprise Architects to strategize and implement solutions effectively. The Product Manager must adeptly navigate and resolve technical challenges while overseeing the entire project lifecycle to ensure timely delivery. Essential to this role is the vigilant maintenance of value streams and stringent quality standards. Demonstrating proactive leadership, the Product Manager will spearhead project execution, necessitating exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders across various levels. Additionally, prior experience in program leadership is indispensable, with a preference for candidates who have a background in the healthcare industry, given its unique intricacies and regulatory landscape.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

35% Coordinates with internal client and internal teams to launch, maintain, and enhance complex programs. Guides internal clients through key decisions and communicates and coordinates activities internally and across network of partners.

10% Manages and updates Project Delivery Timeline, Issues/Action Items/Risks, Installation Checklist, and Shipping Register.

20% Identifies and articulates new customer needs to the technology team.

20% Manages all aspects of implementation including ordering applicable equipment, overseeing installation, assisting with and supporting of account creation, managing communications, and reconciling inventory upon completion.

15% Ensures and drives deliverables to completion per the implementation schedule.

Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

Education Details: Business Management or related field

Experience: 10 years experience in a program operation roles with 3 years in a program management capacity.

Technical Delivery Manager should have demonstrated delivery of large-scaled programs.

The Tech lead / TDM is responsible for overall implementation/delivery of the project. This may involve the delivery of systems with multiple development team. Work with all the development teams to develop Dev estimates for the defined scope of the project.

Engage solution partners (Data Architects/COEs/Security Architect/Solution Architects/Enterprise Architects/Disaster Recovery team).

Identify the impacted systems (this may involve applications outside of one value stream). Discuss requirements of security roles, with the Security Architecture team.

In Lieu of Education

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

The incumbent is required to immediately disclose any debarment, exclusion, or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work directly or indirectly on Federal health care programs. Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time. Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $86.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
