Company Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Coordinator for our growing multi-discipline consulting industrial engineering and construction management firm. This position is primarily located in the office near Stratham, NH; however, some travel to remote construction sites with overnight stays will be required. We are also seeking a junior level Construction Coordinator with the same general requirements serving in a lesser capacity, with one to five years of related work experience.

Job Description

Responsible for coordinating construction effort on multiple small projects to ensure construction is performed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Lead the estimating efforts for assigned projects and business development. Assist with development of bid packages for subcontractors. Assist with project accounting, cost tracking, and project cost forecasting. Interface with client representatives, engineers, subcontractors. Provide technical assistance, monitor subcontractors, review submittals. Maintain necessary licensing and training requirements.

Qualifications

Must have thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment and methods; proficiency with MS Office and other construction related software. Must have outstanding communication, interpersonal, planning, organization and supervisory skills. Industrial construction estimating experience is a plus.

BS in Engineering discipline or Construction Management or equivalent combination of training and related experience. Minimum of eight years of experience working as a project engineering, superintendent or construction coordinator or manager is required. MA Construction Supervisor’s license or the ability to acquire and maintain a MA construction supervisor’s license.
