Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy welcomes your application for a School Psychologist position at our K-12 Jewish Day School, located in Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. HBHA is a community day school with two separate Jewish Studies tracks: Matimidim, for families looking for an Orthodox approach to education, and Magshimim, which is an egalitarian, pluralistic approach to Jewish education. The Kindergarten through twelfth grade school psychologist will be a uniquely qualified and educationally certified individual that will assist the students in their learning and the teachers with their teaching. This person will apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. The school psychologist will partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community.
