Sales Administrator (Onsite)
Cell Microsystems, Inc, is a developer and manufacturer of innovative products for single cell workflows. The Company’s lead products, the CellRaft AIR® System and CellRaft® Array consumables, enable multiple discovery applications across a range of single cell methodologies, including CRISPR, ‘track and trace’ clonal propagation, genomics, stem cells, and organoids. First launched in 2018, the Company’s products have been purchased by leading academic, government, and pharma research organizations in the U.S. and Europe.
Cell Microsystems has an opening for a Sales Administrator. In this role you will support a growing, global sales team by leveraging technology with keen attention to detail. You will work cross-functionally to ensure customer needs are met timely and efficiently. This individual will be detail-oriented, solutions and process-focused, and a team player with an ability to handle multiple and often shifting priorities. The successful candidate will also gain exposure to working in a ‘start-up’ business environment fueled by market-driven innovation and agile processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the sales team to organize and implement activities that support all aspects of the sales process
  • Maintain customer data in CRM systems and prepare and distribute information in an Office-based format for the sales team.
  • Provide sales documentation to satisfy customer requirements as directed by the sales team.
  • Process customer and third-party distributor orders in coordination with finance and manufacturing teams
  • Collaborate with marketing and other in-house teams to support field-based activity, like trade shows and demonstrations.
  • Coordinate shipping of demonstration systems, additional equipment, and supplies for sales team activity
  • Maintain pricing and price lists for both direct and distribution customers
  • Assist and coordinate travel logistics for the sales team as necessary
  • Complete all assignments on time with exceptional focus on quality, detail, and the customer experience
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with Salesforce required; HubSpot experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably in business or related discipline
  • 2 years of administrative experience required, preferably in sales support area
  • Excellent project management, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, initiative, organization and follow through is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are required
  • Proficiency with software applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • This position requires occasional bending and lifting to package and move sales and marketing material, other marketing items, and equipment; 25-30 lbs. lifting, pulling, and pushing required of boxes and trade show cases.
