The Coordinator implements day-to-day tactical public relations activities for assigned clients under the direction of the CEO. The Coordinator is expected to work collaboratively within the agency to implement effective and measurable plans that drive growth for KD Hall Communication clients. This position will also provide direct administrative support to the CEO around Public relation strategies and communication.

Essential Functions:

• Solid experience using digital and social media as a lead element and experience in providing direction for content creation
• Creates media releases and develops social media plans for an organization
• Efficiently handling emails, phone calls, and gathering documents in preparation for meetings
• Assist in developing and executing public relations and communications programs to strategically position KD Hall Communications and elevate the brand
• Acting as a point of contact between the executives and internal/external colleagues
• Efficiently handling emails, phone calls, and gathering documents in preparation for meetings involving Press.
• Emphasis on specialized knowledge of public relations, and media relations
• Proactive professional who has ability to build rapport with business partners, colleagues, and develop productive working relationships at all levels
• Versatility to learn about and work with a variety of business areas and topics

Requirements:

• 1 years plus of experience in marketing and media relations with an unyielding appetite for news and current events.
• Experience in developing social media strategy, driving customer service engagement, engaging brand fans, and reporting meaningful metrics.
• Excellent knowledge of public relations best practices, brand management, and media strategies.
• Strong written communication skills and an ability to quickly distill complex topics into clear, concise press releases, pitches, etc.

Compensation

• $28-$33 hourly
• This role is expected to work 25-32 hours weekly
