- Must have Reinsurance or Property/Casualty Insurance experience

- Must have Database Coding Experience preferably PowerBi, Access or Business Objects

- Must be able to work independently drive independent projects

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Serve as the system administrator for the reinsurance processing system, which includes:

o Determining how changing business requirements are implemented.

o Setting up assumed and ceded contracts o Performing batch processing o Leading
various aspects of the financial quarter close process that are highly integrated with

o Maintaining data integrity and ensuring its accuracy and validity

o Providing user training and support

o Coordinating the effort to resolve system issues by working with software vendors and users.

o Managing the testing and implementation of upgrades

 Provide users with data that is easy to access and analyze, which includes:

o Designing and building Business Objects reports

o Designing and building Power BI reports and applications

o Providing user training and support for the data warehouse and business intelligence tools

o Designing the corporate data warehouse

 Design and build other applications as needed.

 Lead or manage IS projects as needed.

RELATIONSHIPS: Work directly with users in all functional areas as well as with Information Systems, Information Technology, and software vendors to ensure that the system meets user requirements and that users have access to corporate data

EDUCATION OR TRAINING REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

 Eight years of experience in insurance or information systems

 A mixture of systems and insurance aptitude

 A good understanding of property/casualty insurance and reinsurance

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
