Colorado Military Academy is a tuition free public charter school for K-12 conveniently located next to Peterson SFB. Pre-K is available as a tuition-based program.

Our school inspires leadership, responsibility, discipline, and community involvement to all cadets that enroll at CMA.

Colorado Military Academy is seeking dynamic individuals who are passionate and dedicated to youth development. A dedicated, caring, qualified Site Director for a licensed preschool and year round before and after school program. This position would require classroom time as a Preschool Teacher. Our before and after school program provides amazing opportunities for running your own program with supportive guidance. Our team atmosphere and small company feel make this a great place to work.

Duties Include:

· Conducting an organized and professional classroom where independent thinking skills, creative problem solving, and a love of learning are fostered. Develops and uses instructional material suitable for a wide range of learning styles, and provides individual and group instruction designed to meet individual needs. Maintains accurate and appropriate records and assessment data to effectively evaluate academic and social growth of students.

· Managing the daily operations for a fun and engaging before and after school program. Must be able to balance office work with playful interaction with children aged 5-12.

· Guiding staff to work as a team to create a fun and engaging environments for students and families. Must encourage teamwork and be willing to develop staff to their full potential.

· Administrative paperwork will include lesson planning and record keeping.

Required Qualifications:

Site Directors must have one of the following in order to be qualified by the state of Colorado:

· Two years of college training and 480 hours of satisfactory and verifiable full-time or equivalent part-time, paid or volunteer, experience, since attaining the age of (18), in the care and supervision of four (4) or more children.

· Teacher requirements for this position include CO Teaching license or having a Bachelor's Degree.

· Must be knowledgeable about licensing requirements for Early Childhood Education programs in the state of Colorado

· Possess a teamwork mindset, strong communication skills, organization skills and problem-solving ability

· Good work ethic

· Must be able to pass all background checks applicable to the position.

Pay: $40,000-$43,000 depending on experience
