Sales Research Specialist 

Function: Sales Operations

Reports to: Sales Operations Manager

Position Summary:

As a Sales Research Specialist focusing on prospect accounts, you will be instrumental in identifying potential client accounts, pinpointing key contacts within those accounts, and sourcing their contact information. Leveraging research tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo, along with thorough searches across websites and Google, you will gather and verify critical information to support our GTM efforts.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed research to identify prospective client accounts across various industries, aligning with the company’s target market and sales objectives.
  • Utilize research tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo to identify key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
  • Source accurate contact information for identified prospects, including email addresses, phone numbers, websites, and firmographic data. 
  • Employ creative research techniques and methodologies to uncover hard-to-find contact information through websites, industry publications, and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with a cross functional team to understand specific target criteria, providing insights and updates on sourcing efforts.

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in using research tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other prospecting software.
  • Strong internet research skills and familiarity with search techniques. 
  • Excellent organizational and data management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Previous experience working in RevOps/SalesOps Team(s) is helpful. 
  • Experience using Salesforce.com, is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
