Club Overview:

We are a Member owned Private Club open to Members and their guests near downtown Fort Lauderdale. We have different dining options available and in addition have various social activities and events, tennis, sailing, fitness, and pool activities for our Members and guests. We also have various children's activities and Summer Camps.

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individuals with Fine Dining experience to join our team as a Hostess / Host. As a Hostess / Host, you will be the first point of contact for our Members and guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on a positive note. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Position Requirements:

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND SCREENING AND DRUG TESTING WHICH INCLUDES MARIJUANA.

MUST BE AGE 18 or OLDER AND BE AVAILABLE TO WORK DAYTIME, EVENING, WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY SHIFTS AS NEEDED.

- Friendly and Out-Going Personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality required with fine dining preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and Northstar POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle any situation calmly and effectively
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and work in a fast-paced environment

Duties:
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist in seating Members and guests according to seating chart or guest preferences
- Manage waitlist during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess /host station and dining area
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism and efficiency

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Shift:

• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
