Job Summary:
Signtech Electrical Advertising Inc. seeks on-site Project Managers to join our successful Project Management Team in San Diego. The ideal candidate wants to be part of a dynamic team, has a desire to become one of the best Project Managers in the sign industry, and play an integral role in the success of our company.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • This position requires well-organized, detail-oriented planners who can multi-task and operate efficiently and effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to plan and execute a detailed project effectively from design through installation, including project schedule and cost status.
  • Works closely and provides direction to internal project teams and departments.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and meet specified gross profit.
  • Communicates effectively with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of a group of projects. This will include the full scope of work which includes bidding, design, engineering, manufacturing, shipping, installation, and project closeout.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, or within an industry-related field. Equivalent experience in the sign or construction industry may be substituted instead of a degree.
  • Able to review and understand blueprints, site drawings, and architectural documents.
  • Experience in sign or manufacturing industries preferred.
  • 3-4 years of experience in project management, operations management, or construction management.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
  • Knowledge of software applications (e.g. MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates a plus, but not required.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Post-offer drug screen.
  • This is not a remote position.
