Job Overview:
As a Quality Control Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that
our products meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy before they
reach our customers. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming and
outgoing shipments, conducting quality checks on inventory, and implementing
measures to maintain compliance with company standards and industry
regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify quantity,
quality, and accuracy of products.
2. Perform regular audits of warehouse inventory to identify discrepancies or defects.
3. Collaborate with warehouse staff to address any quality issues or concerns, providing
guidance on proper handling and storage procedures.
4. Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation to ensure consistency
and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
5. Utilize quality control tools and techniques to analyze data, identify trends, and
implement corrective actions as needed.
6. Participate in cross-functional teams to improve warehouse processes and enhance overall
efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve
quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Train and mentor warehouse personnel on quality control protocols and best practices
to foster a culture of quality and accountability.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Proven experience in warehouse operations or quality control role, preferably in a
manufacturing or distribution environment.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately assess product quality and
specifications.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
· Proficiency in using quality control tools and software, such as Excel, ERP systems, and
statistical analysis tools.
· Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to quality control
and warehouse operations.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also functioning
effectively as part of a team.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing
potential issues.
· Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
