Job Description Job Description Salary: $40- $54/hrPsych Nurse Registered Nurse (RN)THIRA Health Bellevue WAShift: FT, DaysRequired Education: Associates Degree in Nursing; Bachelors degree preferredRequired License or Certification: valid WA State LicensureRN's are responsible for the direct medical care of THIRA Health patients through regular patient check-ins. Coordinate care with clinical treatment and assist in treatment plans for patients.Job Duties :Perform vitals on patients daily and document accordingly in patients chartPerform initial new patient medical assessment, including but not limited to, reconcile medications, obtain medical/surgical history and most recent labs, confirm all patient allergies, and document all findings in patient chartMaintain all medical data for patients in EMR patient chartsCoordinate all infection control standards within our facility, ensure staff and patients uphold procedures and standards as relevant; delegate as neededMaintain patient illness tracking log and consult with patients regarding questions/concerns about presenting physical medical symptomsDesign and lead health and wellness lectures/groups for patientsAdminister AIMS exam on all patients as necessary and document findings in patient chartAssist PHP patients with self-administered medications and maintain the medication self-administration records and ordersSupport prescribers with creation of lab and EKG orders for all patients as necessary, follow up with providers when neededObtain urine specimens and send to lab for random patient drug screening, follow up as necessaryPhone in patient prescription refillsPreform skin assessments for self-harm behavior, treat as needed and refer to outside providers when necessaryCommunicate with outside providers and patient family members regarding medical information as neededEnsure maintenance of medical info binders for all PHP patients to be used for emergency situationsOversee all medical supply ordering and inventory; maintain medical budgetManage the development and implementation of medical policies and procedures in accordance with Joint Commission and other accreditation servicesResearch solutions for any medical-related issues that have been identified and guide implementation as appropriateClean, sanitize and maintain safe nurses stationCoordinate disposal of biohazard waste with appropriate vendorsSupport prescribing medical staff as neededRequirements:Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN); Bachelors degree (BSN) preferredValid WA State RN license in good standingMinimum one (1) year prior experience as a nurse (RN) required; prior mental or behavioral health nursing experience highly preferredMust be able to successfully pass a criminal background checkBenefits:Comprehensive healthcare benefits package; inclusive of Medical, Dental, Vision, & Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Generous allotment of Paid Time Off401(k) retirement savings plan with company matchPlease be sure to add notifications@app.bamboohr.com to your contact list to ensure delivery of all correspondence from us.THIRA Health is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to ensuring that every employee has the right to work in an environment that is free from all forms of unlawful discrimination#J-18808-Ljbffr
