Industrial Air Centers is Hiring an Area Sales Manager Near Columbus, OH

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Sales Assistant/Associate with a strong customer service focus to join our team. This role involves assisting the sales team in nurturing client relationships, supporting sales efforts, and providing exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with travel and possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping clients meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with existing clients through regular communication, addressing inquiries, and offering solutions.

Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to gather information, prepare quotes, and create proposals for clients.

Sales Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain organized records of client interactions, sales activities, and travel expenses.
  • Generate regular reports for the sales team and management on sales progress and client engagement.

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products or services and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
  • Address client inquiries about product details, capabilities, and potential applications.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with colleagues in sales, customer support, and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Share insights and feedback from clients to improve overall service quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or certifications are a plus.
  • Prior experience in customer service, sales support, or a related field are another plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Comfortable with regular & occasional after-hour (emergency) travel.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Customer-centric attitude, problem-solving capabilities, and a desire to exceed client expectations.
  • 2 years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
