Our Aerospace Environmental Simulation Laboratory is searching for a competent and experienced Test Technician to join our team. In this role, the successful applicant will perform R&D as well as Qualification level testing on ruggedized interconnects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic test lab. • Perform benchtop tests on test samples: Mating Durability, Mating, and Un-mating Force, Shell to Shell Conductivity, Contact Resistance, Coupling Torque/Uncoupling Torque, etc. 
• Programming and utilization of specialized test equipment: temperature/humidity chambers, universal tensile testers, Hi-Pot testers, etc. 
• Perform testing in accordance with Mil-Std-38999, EIA-364 Series of specifications, DO-160, and Mil-Std-810.
• Additionally, perform testing in accordance with internal procedures governed by the quality management system. 
• Accurately record test data into specialized datasheets for test report creation and final delivery to customers.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. 
• GED required bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach. 
• Excellent report and technical document writing skills.
• Impeccable communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Excellent skills with Windows Microsoft Office including Word and excel – must be able to chart and graph trends, create metrics, and track and monitor data.
• Excellent mathematical abilities. 
• Ability to work independently to create and deliver results. 
• 5 years of testing experience on military interconnects or a directly related field.
