HRU Tech is Hiring a Quality Inspector Near Torrance, CA

Job Summary: In this role, you would have the opportunity to ensure that we provide a quality product to our customers through diligent and effective inspections of products and materials.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting incoming, in-process and final inspection.
  • Reviewing supporting data and documentation and generating inspection records.
  • Enforcing FOE/FOD, ESD and Calibration protocols.
  • Generating non-conforming material records in our Quality Applications and ERP System.
  • Performing a variety of Quality Assurance related tasks in support of engineering and operations.

Required Qualification:

  • 3 years experience in electronic and mechanical inspection.

o J-STD-001 Class 3 and/or IPC 610 certifications preferred.

o AOI experience preferred.

o AS9102 (First Article Inspection) experienced preferred.

  • Experience with mechanical inspection tools.
  • Experience with a Quality Application such as TIPQA, QCBD, etc. preferred.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP System preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift/move low weight materials.
  • Frequent use of microscopes.
  • Sitting/standing 90/10.
  • Movement between manufacturing areas and buildings.
  • Frequent wearing of smocks for ESD and FOD control.
  • May be required to pass eyesight examinations for particular customers.

Travel Requirements:

Limited travel for training and/or supplier source inspection purposes (local within 75 miles) may be required.

You are a part of: The Quality Assurance Team in a rapidly growing industry supporting mostly military customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
