Reporting to the SVP Finance, the Controller will be responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting and reporting activities. The Controller will need to be hands on and able to lead all day-to-day finance operations and supervise a team in accounting and accounts payable.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage month end closing; prepare journal entries
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Produces accurate and timely monthly financial statements
• Explain variances to monthly budget/forecasts
• Prepare monthly commission reports
• Monthly sales and use tax filings and annual property tax assessment
• Fixed Assets and capital expenditure requests
• Weekly Income Statement Flash and monthly KPI reporting
• Weekly cash flow reporting; reviewing daily bank reconciliation
• Oversee the annual external audit and income tax
• Prepares annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Oversee year end physical inventory count
• Assist in implementation of standard cost system
• Special projects
