Treasure Coast Community Health (TCCH), a long-established and highly respected healthcare provider with locations throughout Indian River County is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to provide counseling services within the Indian River County jail. Operating within the confines of an imprisonment facility, the LCSW/LMHC will provide psychiatric social work/mental health assistance to mentally or emotionally disturbed incarcerated persons at the Indian River County jail, collaborating with psychiatric and allied team in diagnosis and treatment plan by performing the following duties: Provide psychosocial assessments of incarcerated persons to identify emotional, social, environmental strengths and problems related to their diagnosis, illness, treatment and situation. Formulate, develops and implements a comprehensive psychosocial treatment plan, utilizing appropriate clinical social work/mental health treatments and interventions. May include crisis interventions, brief and long-term, marital, family and/or group therapies as well as grief and bereavement work. Screen, identify, diagnose using DSM nomenclature, treat and manage mental health and/or substance abuse problems in incarcerated persons and family members. Provide training to other health care professionals in same. May perform these functions independently or as a part of a team. Assist with screening, identification, diagnosis and management of victims of abuse, neglect, domestic violence, rape, etc. Provides training to other health care professionals in same. Provides consultative services to healthcare team members within scope of care definitions as needed. Maintains a working knowledge of relevant medical/legal issues that impact on incarcerated persons care, e.g. advanced directives, child and elder abuse. Provide education to incarcerated persons around issues related to adaptation to the incarcerated persons diagnosis, illness, treatment and/or life situation. Participate in multi-disciplinary healthcare teams and provide leadership in representing clinical social work perspective/liaison with incarcerated persons.

Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor, required Minimum of two year's experience is preferred.
