Job Description

Duties:
Works with suppliers on a daily basis to get updates on ship dates and to improve ship dates
Escalates parts shortages with leaders and purchasing teams to improve ship dates as required
Tracks material in transit from origin to delivery
Uses uses Material Requirements Planning system to identify demand information and conveys to suppliers
Collaborates with suppliers and production scheduling to move schedules as appropriate
Provides daily status updates to stakeholders on parts
Looks at part shortages in the short and long term to mitigate impacts to production
Updates and resolves monthly reporting
Education/Experience
Associate or Bachelor’s in supply chain or manufacturing or industrial engineering
1-3 years work experience in the areas of transportation, manufacturing, or supply chain strongly desired
Required Skills:
Material Requirements Planning knowledge.
Strong computer skills. Proficient typing experience. Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel and related functions such as sort, filter, pivot table.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work across cross-functional teams and comfortable engaging with business partners and supplier via phone call and email
Willingness to learn and be coachable
Detail oriented
Sense of urgency
Follow through and organization skills
