Job Description
Mesa Pilot Development has partnered with an on-field maintenance operator in Inverness, Florida who is actively seeking a licensed A P with recent General Aviation experience. This onsite opportunity pays approximately $25/hour (DOE). The role involves working with a team to support/maintain a fleet of Pipistrel Alpha Trainer aircraft, ensuring efficient work execution, and maintaining compliance with FAA regulations.

• Perform regular inspection and preventative maintenance of airframe and powerplant
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in accordance with manufacturer maintenance man
• Diagnose and troubleshoot failure or malfunction of aircraft systems and components
• Maintain aircraft maintenance logbooks in accordance with FAA regulations
• Ensure a safe work environment for employee and coworkers in accordance with local safety guidelines and standards

Requirements

• Airframe and powerplant certificate
• Minimum 6 months GA experience
• Works well with a team and thinks critically
• Understanding of light sport aircraft regulations is preferred, however on and off-site training opportunities are available
