Huebsch Services is Hiring a Maintenance Technician (Eagan, MN; Eau Claire, WI) Near Eagan, MN
- Maintain buildings and grounds so they are clean and safe.
- Work effectively and efficiently using independent problem-solving skills.
- Follow through on all preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Contribute to the safe environment by offering suggestion to improve processes.
- Establish and maintain a professional company image by modeling the Huebsch values.
- Take responsibility for timely completion of projects and repairs.
- Maintain a safe and clean building.
- Collaborate and occasionally own special projects.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
- Complete work orders as assigned.
- Monitor, complete and document daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment or buildings
- Fabricate custom carts and repair castors.
- Fabricate hanging racks per customer needs.
- Fabricate and install guard rails around machines, walls and where needed.
- Inspect emergency lights, fire extinguishers and eye wash stations monthly.
- Attend 5S and safety meetings.
- Complete 5S and safety projects.
- Maintain SDS sheets and binders.
- Train proper forklift techniques.
- Maintain lockout/tagout procedures.
- Low to moderate noise levels
- Humid and hot temperatures in the summer and cool to cold temperatures in the winter
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, climb, crouch, crawl, and balance.
- Climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, bending, and stretching is required throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift 10 to 50 pounds frequently.
- Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to move loaded garment trollies on a rail system.
- Ability to move loaded garment tubs weighing up to 500 pounds.
