If you have repair experience in the hearing aid industry or a micro electronics background of troubleshooting, reassembling, soldering, and testing this could be the career move for you. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS

• Troubleshoot problems in aids in need of repair.
• Replace components that are not working.
• Clean the hearing aid.
• Re-assemble the hearing aid.
• Maintain salvage parts and inventory.
• Ensure hearing aid is repaired according to specifications.
• Test the hearing aid to ensure it works.
• Read and/or program hearing aid
• Restore previous program settings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education

• 2-year electronics degree preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• 2 years hearing aid experience preferred but not a must
• Micro electronics a plus

Competencies, Skills & Abilities

• Good manual dexterity required.
• Good hand-eye coordination required.
• Ability to set 95% of the day.
