Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conference Manager to join our team. As a Conference Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing conferences, meetings, and events. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute conferences, meetings, and events from start to finish
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiation, budgeting, and vendor management
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and ensure their needs are met
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all equipment and materials are in place
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events
- Manage event staff and provide guidance and support as needed
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in conference management

Requirements:
- Previous experience in conference or event management is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food service management, hotel operations, banquet services, catering, bartending, and restaurant management
- Ability to interview, hire, train, and supervise event staff
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety protocols
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
