Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Restaurant Traveling Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant restaurant experience and a strong passion for the industry. This is a hands-on role that involves traveling up to 12 days in a row to various locations within our franchise network. The Restaurant Traveling Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring consistent operational excellence across our franchise locations, promoting a positive guest experience, and maintaining a strong understanding of restaurant P&L. This position is NOT Remote and is based out of our Boca Raton office when you are not traveling.
Responsibilities:
  1. Training and Development: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for restaurant staff, including front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Provide hands-on training, demonstrations, and workshops to ensure consistent adherence to operational standards, service protocols, and safety procedures.
  2. Operational Excellence: Collaborate with restaurant franchisees, managers, and staff to assess and enhance operational practices, efficiency, and quality. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to elevate overall performance.
  3. Travel Requirements: Be prepared to travel up to 12 consecutive days, training different franchise locations within the network. During travel and training, provide real-time coaching, support, and guidance to improve performance and guest satisfaction.
  4. Franchise Support: Utilize your experience and knowledge of franchise operations to offer guidance and best practices to franchisees. Help franchise locations achieve and exceed brand standards and expectations.
  5. Performance Analysis: Utilize your understanding of restaurant P&L to analyze financial and operational data, identify trends, and work with management to develop action plans for improvement.
  6. Guest Experience: Ensure that staff are trained to deliver exceptional guest experiences, focusing on service quality, speed of service, and overall customer satisfaction.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate training records, progress reports, and evaluations for each location visited. Provide timely feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  8. Communication: Collaborate closely with the corporate training team and communicate effectively with management and franchisees regarding training initiatives, challenges, and successes.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant restaurant experience, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 12 consecutive days).
  • Experience working in a franchise environment is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in analyzing restaurant P&L statements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong training and coaching abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to different work environments and locations.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for the restaurant industry.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
