Sauder’s Eggs is looking for a Shipping Line Leader for our 3rd shift team at the Ephrata Plant Location, Spanish Bilingual desired. 

Properly load and unload all trucks coming in and out of plant to coincide with invoices for each order. Assist supervisor in training and managing the shipping clerks. 

Work Schedule:

Sunday to Thursday

Sunday - 6:00 pm to 2:30 am or work is completed

Monday - Thursday 8:00 pm to 4:30 am or work is completed

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Load all products and materials in a way that will ensure that no damage will occur in transit.
2. Load trailers in order of departure time and available product, based off a monitor showing a hook-up sheet.
3. Match each load with the invoice provided for that individual order.
4. Ensure that all damaged product is removed before shipment.
5. Send the proper paperwork along with each truck/trailer.
6. Send the proper paperwork in an organized manner and see that it is forwarded to the proper departments.
7. Count all incoming products and match them with the invoice. Make appropriate changes if needed.
8. Perform all shipping and receiving tasks in Sauder's inventory system to match actual shipment or inventory variances
9. Keep the work area clean.
10. Operate electric jacks safely at all times.
11. Jockey Trailers
12. The ability to conduct weekly physical inventory and report findings to appropriate departments.
13. Perform any and all duties assigned by Supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

1. Must be able to read, write and understand basic English
2. Basic math skills needed
3. Must have good organization skills
4. Valid driver license 
5. Must take a training course in operating an electric jack
6. Must take a training course in operating yard jockey truck

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be able to lift 20-60 pounds frequently.
2. Must be able to perform physical labor for up to 8-12 hours
3. Must be able to bend and stretch frequently.
