We are looking for a talented Video Editor with at least 8 years of professional entertainment content promo editing experience to join our in-house video creative team.

The ideal candidate has deep experience producing and editing broadcast quality content trailers/promos for leading entertainment media brands. They are proactive and capable of concepting, storyboarding, editing, and finishing dynamic video promos in a fast-paced environment. Their work demonstrates mastery of polished sound design, pacing, and mixing. They must be highly collaborative between copywriters, motion designers, producers, and stakeholders. They understand how to tell a story that is concise and on brand. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, and technically proficient in Adobe creative suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects. Experience developing their own motion graphics is a plus. Experience editing live action commercials is a plus.

Your responsibilities

• Report into Manager of Video Creative within Creative Studio
• Concept, storyboard, edit, and finish polished network-style content video promos
• Effectively present and pitch creative concepts to broader creative team and stakeholders
• Advocate and preserve brand voice and personality in all creative executions
• Own the music selection, sound mixing, and finishing for all videos
• Ensure quality control and accuracy with final edits
• Collaborate daily with creative colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment
• Welcome active partnership with motion designers to develop elevated executions
• Manage all digital assets within company managed creative storage solutions
• Transcode, render and manage the database for all final assets
• Self-manage tasks and accurately scope project timelines
• Proactively anticipate challenges and provide practical solutions

Your experience

• 5 years of video editing experience in a creatives marketing and/or broadcast space.
• Polished Network-style content promo and trailer editing
• Dynamic editing that demonstrates concise, impactful videos with a strong sense of pacing
• Proven track record of concepting/storyboarding with presentation skills
• Welcomes active workflow between editor and motion designer in development process
• Acute sense of musicality and timing with sound design and mixing
• Amazing reel of industry quality work that showcases your talent.
• Great attitude, highly collaborative and excellent interpersonal skills.
• An in-depth knowledge of current media codecs, bit rates, frame rates, asset management, archival and transcoding.
• Creative Cloud software: After Effects, Premiere, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator
